Make the most of your trip to Moncton for the NBNU Annual General Meeting. Below you’ll find everything you need to plan your stay, enjoy your time in the city, and take part in the special events that make our AGM so memorable.

Special Events

Every year at the AGM, we come together not just to meet and plan, but to give back — and have a little fun along the way.
‍Here’s what’s happening this year:

Donation Drives

Food Bank: Each local is asked to bring non-perishable food items. Please drop off donations at the registration table. On the final day of the AGM, all items will be delivered to the local food bank.

‍Tampon Tuesday (NEW!): This year, we’re also collecting feminine hygiene products to support a local women’s shelter.

Please drop donations off at registration by Wednesday morning, October 22.

International Solidarity Silent Auction

Our popular silent auction is back!

Each local is asked to contribute an item and bring it to registration by Tuesday, October 21 (before lunch).

Instead of bidding, attendees purchase raffle tickets and place them in the box for the item(s) they want to win.

Winners will be drawn on Wednesday morning, October 22.

AGM Banquet

This year’s banquet theme is “Pride.” 🌈

Attendees are encouraged to dress in pride colours.

Dinner will be served buffet-style.

Entertainment will follow the meal — a celebration not to be missed!

We also invite attendees to bring a new teddy bear (or other small stuffed toy) to add to our collection. These will be donated to local hospitals, police, paramedics, and firefighters to comfort children in times of crisis.

50/50 Draw

Try your luck and support a good cause.

Tickets sold Monday to Wednesday morning at the 50/50 table. Winning ticket drawn after lunch on Wednesday, October 22.

Half the proceeds go to the winner, and half will be donated to a charity of the winner’s choice.
